I started my first business at the age of 12. It was a car wash business and that was how I was turned on to providing a solutions or services as an entrepreneur. Since then I have been a student of the art of doing business.
For me business is an art form that allows creative minded individuals to express themselves. Business and entrepreneurship are things that have the power to inspire joy and happiness, as well as to make the world a better place to live in.
Here is a short list of companies and business projects that I have created so far. My entrepreneurial projects are led by my insatiable curiosity to discover how things work in order to find ways to do it better.

Project Requirements:
To create brand identity and marketing campaign for the first edition of the Fiesta 20 de Julio that took place at Landhuis Chobolobo on July 20th, 2019 in Curaçao to celebrate the independence day of Colombia.
Target Audience:
Colombian community and other Latin communities who reside on the island of Curacao.
Summary of Results:
The branding and marketing strategy produced an event that was visited by over 1,000 people. The festival served to create an opportunity for the branding partners to engage with the audience.

Project Requirements:
To create brand identity and marketing campaign for the first edition of the Festival Internacional de Música y Humor Latino that took place on November 3rd, 2018 in Curaçao.
Target Audience:
Latin community consisting primarily of people from Dominican Republic, Colombia and Venezuela who reside on the island of Curacao. International promotion included special packages that were offered to wholesale travel agencies in Aruba, Colombia and Venezuela.
Summary of Results:
The branding and marketing strategy produced a SOLD OUT show. The festival served to create an opportunity for the branding partner to engage and create an emotional attachment between the festival attendees and the Presidente beer brand.

Project Requirements:
One Love SXM was an idea that came to Ghatim Kabbara while Hurricane Irma, a Category 5 hurricane, was hitting the Dutch Caribbean island of St. Maarten on September 6th, 2017. He wanted to do something to help the people of Sint Maarten after the storm. The light bulb turned on in his head and the ONE LOVE SXM Benefit Concert idea was born.
Summary of Results:
In just a few days Ghatim Kabbara was able to convince business leaders and community influencers to create the ONE LOVE SXM campaign with the amazing support of local companies, media, service clubs, banks and over 50 volunteers. Besides being a unique experience that brought together so many people for a common cause, the campaign and benefit concert was able to raise over 1 million guilders for the Red Cross humanitarian efforts in St. Maarten.
In 2017 Ghatim Kabbara produced the first stand-up comedy show in Spanish in Curacao. This may not seem like it is a 'big deal', however, it was considered to be a high risk business venture.
With his unique ability to sense what the next big thing will be he invested in producing a comedy show to create a new form of entertainment on the island. He made the decision to go into unchartered territory and trusted his business intuition to guide him to success.

Latin community consisting primarily of people from Dominican Republic, Colombia and Venezuela who reside on the island of Curacao. International promotion included special packages that were offered to wholesale travel agencies in Aruba, Colombia and Venezuela.

The branding and marketing strategy produced a SOLD OUT show. This first show proved that there was a market for stand-up comedy in Spanish on the island.
Achievement:
Tickets Caribbean Inc. was founded in 2014 in order to help event promoters, venues and tourist attractions in the Caribbean to sell tickets online to tourists visiting the region.
During the last 4 years Tickets Caribbean Inc. has sold tickets online for event organizers in Aruba, Bonaire, Curacao, Colombia, Dominican Republic and Suriname. Although still a startup, Tickets Caribbean Inc. has processed over 1 million $ worth of transactions so far.
Tickets Caribbean Inc. has been the exclusive online ticketing platform for the Aruba Summer Music Festival since its beginnings, and it has established partnerships with prominent music concert promoters in the Dominican Republic that have allowed it to sell concert tickets for big name artists such as Justin Bieber, Maroon 5, Romeo Santos, Shakira, Maluma, Luis Miguel and Andrea Bocelli among others.
In Curacao, Tickets Caribbean Inc. is the exclusive online ticketing partner for the Festival di Tumba, Jazz Meets Cultures, Cafe del Mar Curacao and Festival de Musica y Humor Latino among others.
Tickets Caribbean Inc. is also the preferred online ticketing platform for business events organized by the Curacao Government, ACU, UTS, the Central Bank of Curacao and Sint Maarten, as well as other private sector organizations.
Tickets Caribbean Inc. has contributed with the development of event tourism in Aruba, Curacao and the Dominican Republic by providing tickets online that can be purchased by tourists in their own countries. In fact, 85% of all ticket sales that take place on TicketsCaribbean are purchased by tourists.
In addition to online ticket sales that happen directly over its website, Tickets Caribbean Inc. has also created a distribution channel consisting of Tour Operators (Wholesalers) and travel agents in Venezuela and Colombia that use the TicketsCaribbean platform to purchase tickets for events in order to create event tourism packages that are sold to customers in their countries.

Achievement:
Created the first Japanese restaurant in the city of Barcelona to combine fashion, art and fusioncuisine. SOBA Sushi & Lounge received the recognition of critics and customers as one of the bestJapanese restaurants in Barcelona. Sold SOBA Sushi & Lounge in March of 2010.
